Colorguard is an exciting performance art that combines the use of many styles of dance, the use of props and color, dramatic skills, costuming, and athletic stamina. It is one of the fastest growing pageantry arts and colorguard programs exist all over the world.
In the fall, the Harrison Colorguard performs outdoors as a section of the Harrison marching band at football games, parades, and both local and national competitions.
In the winter, the Colorguard competes indoors as the Harrison Winterguard, a separate performing ensemble that competes at local, regional, and national events. We have both a Varsity and Junior Varsity Winterguard.
Performing for audiences, traveling to new places, and making life-long friends are just a few things that make the Harrison Colorguard such an awesome experience!!!
